I had a truly wonderful evening at the Women’s Enterprise Scotland Awards Dinner! ✨
Last year, I attended as a guest at the Bright Red Triangle’s table, and this year, I was incredibly humbled to return — not only as their guest again but also as a finalist for an award. What an amazing experience!
The evening began with a champagne reception followed by a beautiful dinner. I was so excited for the entire event and felt deeply inspired by the incredible speakers and all the remarkable women on stage.
I was joined by my colleague and friend, Angelika Skweres, who runs her own networking business — it was lovely to share the evening with her.
The room was filled with so many inspiring women, all running brilliant businesses — many while also raising families. It was such a powerful reminder of the strength, resilience, and creativity that women in business bring every day.
The night flew by, but it was another unforgettable and motivating experience. A massive well done to the Women’s Enterprise Scotland team for hosting such a fantastic awards evening!
My business may not be huge or groundbreaking — we’re a humble SME employing amazing people, doing our best to provide a positive experience for both our staff and customers. To me, business isn’t about risk or glamour; it’s about supporting families, communities, and the local economy.
