We may be a small company compared to some of our competitors, but there’s a reason we’re winning contracts against much bigger businesses and consistently delivering great results for our clients.

That reason is simple: we genuinely look after our people.

Because we’re a smaller company, we stay close to our team. We regularly check in with staff, not just about work but about how they’re doing. Yes, they’re meant to update management on things like stock, and sometimes that gets missed. But often it comes out naturally when we ask, “How are you?”
And then we get the classic: “Oh, by the way…” 😄

I personally have a weekly virtual catch-up with the management team. We keep it to roughly an hour, and I always have an agenda to make sure important points are covered. That said, the conversation doesn’t always stay strictly “business”, and that’s ok.

Some people focus purely on efficiency and professionalism. We do too! But we also believe human connection matters. I love it when team members share photos of their kids, their pets, or places they’ve visited. Some might say that isn’t important, but at the end of the day, we’re working with people, not just job roles. Building real relationships creates trust, loyalty, and a stronger team.

When difficult situations arise, our management team always speaks directly with the staff member involved, whether that’s a call or a chat. Often it’s simply a misunderstanding. If it’s something more serious, we deal with it fairly and transparently. Clear communication and respect are non-negotiable for us.

Even outside the business, at networking events, I’ve found the same principle applies. The best conversations aren’t just about work. They’re about shared experiences, values, and stories. That’s why I believe the WHY behind a business matters more than the WHAT.

Our why at Perfect Cleaning Solutions is to provide a safe, fair, and supportive workplace for our cleaning staff.
And when we do that well, it naturally leads to happier teams, and happier clients too!
