Being part of the local community and to contribute to the local economy is super important for us as a small business who relies on local employment and local customers.
Through engaging with the local councils, specifically with the West Lothian and Edinburgh Council, we were able to help more parents, students, and young people with opportunities. This partnership has been incredibly successful for us.

In terms of local employment, we provide our staff with flexibility as much as possible and engage with our staff on the regular basis so that the jobs are best suited for them. This ensures that they are happy with the job they are undertaking.
The same can be said for the local businesses that we provide our services to. Often companies take on a cleaning company that are based nationwide as they are the ones who can spend more money being visible.
However, as we are based locally with 2 branches in West Lothian and in Edinburgh, we can provide swift solutions to the problems that they might be having. Being able to serve the local businesses and contribute to the local economy is such a privilege that we have.

We engage and are part of the local groups such as West Lothian Chamber of commerce and the Federation of small businesses. We are also involved and work with Bright Red Triangle which is based at Napier University who provides business support for students. We have spoken at their events and closely work together with the BRT team which has been great at engaging with the students. We will continue to increase visibility in the local communities through working with the local councils, business groups, and to show how proud we are to be a Living Wage Employer and what that means to us.
