Since becoming accredited in 2021, we have fully embraced the ethos of the Living Wage foundation. We felt really proud for taking this step and wanted to promote it to our existing and potential clients, as well as our employees.
This is why we were delighted to be featured in the marketing material for the Living Wage foundation’s International Women’s Day 2023. We explained in the video that being part of the Living wage employer is not only the extra money that we pay, but it is to have that mindset to provide a safe and fair workplace for all of our staff.

We feel that it is especially important that we are embracing this as a cleaning company.
Cleaning industry is not particularly the well paid sector nor famous for a wonderful working condition, but we are changing that. Being an accredited Living Wage employer is definitely a step forward.

We focus on our staff and make sure they are happy. We send out birthday cakes on their birthdays, we provide the staff with extra holiday every year they work with us, and we make sure their cleaning cupboards are well stocked up so that they feel that they are looked after by the company, and happy.

In our marketing materials, we do not push how good a job we do, nor show them before and after photos. We highlight how good we treat our employees and how good an employer we are for our staff. We believe that treating the staff well results in better quality of work. Being a Living Wage employer means that we are giving staff more and making sure that people are happy in our company. And that is what we publish and show through our marketing materials, blogs and talks.
