Happy New Year everyone!
The break was very much needed after a whirlwind year. 2025 was full-on and I barely stopped. That said, it feels good to be back in a routine and getting the year underway.
Being a small business owner can sometimes feel lonely and, at times, a little underappreciated. But when I look back at 2025, from being nominated for awards to seeing how much my team supported me throughout the year. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together. It’s given me so much motivation to keep building on that momentum this year.
We’re also still a Real Living Wage employer, which is something we’re extremely proud of. At a time when things are tough for SMEs, we truly believe in the value of retaining great people. We’re always looking for ways to improve, whether that’s processes, communication, or benefits. To make sure our staff feel supported and valued.
Most of our team stay with us long-term, with several having been with us for over 10 years. Some even return after leaving, which tells me we must be doing something right.
On top of running a business, I’m also a mum to two young children. Every day is an adventure! Exciting, unpredictable, and sometimes challenging, but it’s all completely worth it. Balancing business and family life fulfils me, makes me happy, and gives me a real sense of purpose, which I feel incredibly lucky to have.
I wanted to start the year on a positive note. Celebrating what we achieved in 2025 and looking forward to another fantastic year ahead with our amazing staff, delivering great service to the brilliant clients who continue to support us.
